Everything that is you...2S4Y - Kazan's Sketch 5

Another great sketch!!! to work off of over at 2 Sketches 4 You by Kazan this week.

This card is made for my friend, Mary, who I refer to as Rose Mary as she gives me tons advice on my rose bushes (I have over 30 rose bushes!) Her birthday is next week and wanted to give a few roses to her by card form.

So here's Kazan's sketch that I worked off of:

And here's my take on it:

Gardening Tools for this creation:

Pigment Inks by Colorbox: Black & Chianti
Blossoms: Prima's Got Flower? Ivory or Winter #3 (not sure which bottle I have)

That's a really great sketch and I love what you've done with it...especially the inside stamping! Love doing that myself. :)

Here are two links to Gamsol tutorials. The first is right from SCS: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/gamsol_magic/

Here's another one that I did on my blog where you can use baby oil instead of gamsol: http://thepaperlandscaper.blogspot.com/2008/03/baby-oil-tutorial.html

I personally like gamsol a little better, but either way will work. Oh, and I bought my gamsol at Inky Antics (it's completely odorless). :)

Have fun!
:)
