Sweet Baby of Mine

It's another week over at 2 Sketches 4 You and this week it's Kazan's sketch, which is her 3rd sketch (and what a sketch it is!).

And there is also a new contest over at Bitten By The Bug that gave me the opportunity to combine two challenges into one. The contest over at BBTB is something for a baby using brown as the primary color, have a heart somewhere on the project and use any cut from any of the Cricut cartridges!

A colleague of mine is having a baby in August and there is going to be a baby shower for her soon and due to a very busy schedule I had to combine both challenges into one.

Did I Frazzle You?

Week 3 of 2 Sketches 4 You is here, or I should say deadline is here! This week it was Laura's turn to provide a great sketch and she did!

This card was made for a neighbor of mine who I asked to water my plants while I was away last weekend. Due to the inclement weather we had, she wasn't quite sure what to do, but luckily her dad was able to give her some good advice. So I felt bad that she was very worried that she was not going to water them enough or end up drowning them, luckily she did neither! :)

Here's Laura's sketch:

And my take on it:

I've been tagged!...

...by one of my favorite and fabulously creative, inspiring ladies...Tracy Gough

The "rules" of the game:
Answer the 5 questions listed below about yourself.
At the end of the post, tag 5-6 people by posting their names, then go to their blogs and leave them a comment letting them know they’ve been tagged and also ask them to read your blog for the rules.
Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answers.

Question 1: Ten years ago:
I started working for the company I'm currently work for. Started as an Admin Asst, then to Product Marketing Specialist, then to Sales Associate, then to Sales Support Systems Specialist and now currently Sales Support Supervisor. And I can't believe I'm still there!

Question 2: Five things in today's 'to do list':
1. Finish new brick patio
2. Try to kill weeds from my pathetic crab grass, dandelion ridden and patches of real grass yard, and cover that area with all the dirt we are digging up from putting in the new brick patio
3. Set up new soaker hose, where I planted new rose bushes, Gemini , Spellbound, DisneyLand (CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THIS OPENS UP!), Melody Parfumée (all lined up next to Passionate Kisses that I bought last year in remembrance to my beloved kitty, Morgan, who lost her battle with cancer on April 30, 2007. I bought that particular rose because she always stretched her neck out for kisses on her forehead)
4. Mop kitchen (yeah right I might get to that one...)
5. Tonight, do a card using Laura's Sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You

BTW, we are on vacation this week and those home owners out there know, you usually spend it on home projects!

Question 3: Snacks I enjoy:
Try not to but Doritos, Cape Cod chips, Ruffles...

Question 4: Things I would do if I was a millionaire:
Buy a new house on a different lake and get away from my psychotic, spiteful, nut-job of a neighbor (currently in a legal battle with her in Land Court over multiple items she has done against me) and do some traveling...

Question 5: Places I have lived:
1. Fredonia, NY
2. Wantagh, NY
3. Chelmsford, MA
4. Boxboro, MA
5. Santa Barbara, CA
6. Tyngsboro, MA
And many many other places but these are the ones I consider the most important.

And here are 5 of my other favorite and fabulously creative inspiring ladies (that I have not tagged in the past)...Becky, Em, Enfys, Kazan Clark, and Taylor
