He's 40 today!

Well the day has come and Scott is now 40 years old! Is he feeling it? Yes he is! Well, I'm only 10 months behind him and I'm already feeling it.

Here's the birthday card I made him. I just love this owl from Cornish Heritage Farms, I've been wanting to use him forever and finally got to now.

OK! Back to some scrapbooking! - Hayride & apples!

I've been working a little here and there in between cards on catching up on scrapbooks for the in-laws. Here's a couple LOs to a day we spent apple picking. These pictures are from the Fall of 08, that's how far behind I am! And these are just for Scott's mom and husband, I still have to make some LOs of this event for his dad and wife.

The ticket with the apple bucket is from one of the BBTB's challenge I did when I was on the team, you can see it here.

Even after all the pies I made I was still able to lose all the extra weight I had on me when these pictures were taken :)

Finally get to reveal!

Back in mid-September I posted that I was getting published for the 1st time in a magazine...it was the Oct/Nov issue of READY, SET, CREATE! and it's been 30 days since the issue was release so now I get to reveal what was picked to be included among many many talented other card makers! I'm in Set #1 on page 43. And my fellow Bitten By The Bug design team member Carole Lowe Beath has some many amazing cards in the this issue as well...she can be found also in Set #1 on pages 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 and 48.

Someone turned 50 today!

Someone I know is turning 50 today and my card to him will be a day late, he's a guy, he won't care... So I'm over at Enfys Cashmore's blog and as always get so much inspiration from her but this time she introduced us to the coolest stamp Max from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Well this stamp is the most perfect stamp for the today's b-day boy, as he love martini's. Plus my fiance's dad loves them too, so I know I'll be using this stamp again.

I used Enfys lead on using Glossy Accents on the glass, it works like a charm!

New Birthday card for my brother

I made a post a couple days ago that had a b-day card for Taylor's cupcake card challenge, originally the card was going to be for my brother, who's b-day is at the end of May. But I thought the inside was too plain so I had to foof it up, forgetting it was supposed to be a b-day card for a guy, so I decided that card is going to be for someone else and made this new one (stay tuned for the finishing touches of the other card)...TFL!
