B-day Party Girl and 2 Sketches 4 You

Whoo-hoo, another fun sketch to work off of from 2 Sketches 4 You with this week featuring Laura's 3rd sketch.

This week I needed to make two b-day cards for two friends of mine that are twins. They look very much alike but their personalities are a bit different. And I have to admit that I'm not too good of a friend to them since their b-day was this past weekend and I'm just making their cards now! This one is for the twin (Lori) that loves to get everyone together so I went with the Party Girl Theme to go with her personality. I did a lot of popping up on the dresses by cutting some from the left over paper and used sticky squares to pop them! Then I dressed them up with some Stickles and Glossy Accents. I'm also getting into this stitching thing, I don't know why I was so nervous to give it a try...

Tomorrow I'll get working on the other twin's card (wish me luck!)

Here's Laura's very cool sketch:

And here's my take on it:

Party favors for this creation:
-CS: DCWV "Pink #1 Texture" & "Robin #3 Texture" and The Paper Co "Pastel Pink Texture"
-DP: Colorbok "Black Dress"
-Blossoms: Colorbok Layered Flowers
-Various Round and Flower Rhinestones
-Self Adhesive Pearls
-Fluid Chalk Inks: Colorbox "Rouge" & "Ice Blue"
-Stickles: Waterfall, Turquoise, Pink, Diamond, Yellow, Burgundy, Lime Green, Cinnamon & Copper
-Cricut Carts: PS for the scallop cut at 1" and stretch to 8" tall using the CDS, Doodletype for the letters girl using the bookplate feature cut at 1" & for Party with the shadow feature cut at 1 1/2" & also for the letters Lori using the bookplate feature cut at 2"
-Computer fonts: scrapNfonts - DB Borders B-day for Happy Birthday (character "y") & Presents (character "h") and DB Frilly Frames for the frame (character "n")
-Misc items: Glossy Accents, Prismacolor Pencils, aqua thread, sewing machine, diamond ribbon from stash, fuzzy string also from stash, MM sticky squares and All Night Media mini pot dots

TFL!!! And have a very happy and safe 4th of July!!!
