Hi there, I've been wanting to play around with these Scrumptious Shoes (and I mean SCRUMPTIOUS!) from Stampendous. And I also wanted to see which medium I like working with better, markers & water pens or prismacolor pencils with gamsol. I used both in this yummy shoe, can you tell which part is which medium?
This is based off of Kazan #8 sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You. There are some very beautiful takes on this sketch from the design team over there!
Here's Kazan's sketch:
And here's my take on it:
I've been taking DeeDee's lead on taking pictures of my work with props because it really does make it look more interesting! And not just a stark white background.
This is something that is going to wind up in my Etsy shop..once I open one :P, as soon as I do I'll let you know!
Scrumptious Recipe:
-DPs: Heidi Grace double-sided "Cherrywood Lane/Paisley", Paper Pizza "Faded Pink flower" and Anna Griffin unknown name to the pattern (ivory floral?)
-Stamps: Stampendous Scrumptious Shoes A La Mode (for the shoe) AND Birthday Cake (for the sentiment)
-Fluid Chalk Inks: Colorbox Creamy Brown, Chestnut Roan and Pink Pastel
-Markers: Marvy 1314 - #18 Dark Brown, #15 Olive Green, #67 Bubble Gum Pink and #46 Crimson Lake
-Blossoms: Colorbok "Family Blessings", Prima's Got Flower? Fabric Fancies "Quartz" & "Opal"
-Ribbon: Earth Friendly Cotton Lace
-Dew Drop: Robins's Nest "Fresh Mowed Grass" and "DD Hyacynth"
-Misc: Pigment Ink, Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Red line tape, chipboard, Herma Dots adhesive, Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol
TFL!!!
