Blog Candy!!! And Paying It Forward

I was so excited to find out that I had won DeeDee's awesome blog candy...can't wait to get it! I've been wanting that Martha Stewart Snowflake punch...and yes, I love Martha Stewart too!

As part of the deal on entering her blog candy is that if you win you "Pay it Forward" and give something away that you love too (which I think is an awesome idea). So these are the blog candy items that I'm giving away, as I love ribbon, especially Christmas ribbon and I love these new Inkadinkado clear stamps.

All you need to do is leave a comment so I can put your name in...but if you want to be entered twice leave me a story of what was your favorite toy that Santa gave you when you were a if you want to be entered a 3rd time make a post on your blog with a link to my blog candy (or you can list it under a blog candy list if you have one).

So here's are what the goodies are:
Inkadinkado's Winter Trails clear stamp set
9 feet of 3/8" Red & White snowflake ribbon
9 feet of 7/8" White & Red snowflake ribbon
9 feet of 7/8" Mix of Santa's Hat, Red snowflakes & mittens ribbon
Bazzill Basics's Chipboard Snowflake Tags (set of 3)
Bazzill Basics's Chipboard Tree Tags (set of 3)

Please have your entry in by midnight EST on November 16th (notice date change). And check back Monday evening to see if won!

Remember if you win, please Pay it Forward! :)

Good luck!

how fun ..paying it forward!
unfortunatly my memories of my youth are wonderful memory i do have is the year i turned 16, for christmas my grandmother gave me the first engagement ring my grandfather had given was a 14 k gold ring with a topaz in it. i still have that :) another sweet memory just to when my daughter was 2,( she's 26 now) she received a doll and immediatly just fell in love with her... she wrapped her new baby in her favorite blanket, kissed it and looked up at me and said "oh mom this is the best year of my life! " lol oh to be young :) thanks for making me think of that it brings a big smile :)

Lisa Lou said...

Well, the one that comes to mind at the moment was the fabulous lite brite. I played with that thing for hours!! Thanks!! I too love the pay it forward!

what a great idea to pay forward, keeps it all going doesn't it? My favourite santa gift when I was a kid was my care bear (remember those lol). My mumm couldn't afford to buy a new one for me so she made one in my favourite colours and it was way better than the others!! I still have it :)

I will go now and add your blog candy to my candy box :)

I LOVE your creations!

My favorite Christmas toy was my Holly Hobby Oven. My granny used to make the most wonderful baked goods, but I was too young at the time to the "adult" stuff in the kitchen. Boy did that oven ever make me feel like a big girl!

You can see the post I left linking you at The Paper Freak

I added you to my blog so others can find you just as I have! Great luck and much inspiration in your crafting future! And may I add Pick me, Pick ME! I have looked at this set many a times (but thought to myself with my husband in the back of my head chanting "christmas is coming soon") that I would love this set!

Oh wow! Girl...this is some FANTASTIC blog candy you're giving away!! I love the "pay it forward" candies! When I was little, (and man am I going to be dating myself), I received a doll that talked and it was the coolest thing. Unfortunately, my curiosity got the best of me, and I eventually had to disassemble the poor thing to figure out how it worked. But I loved it dearly until then. LOL!! I have also linked your blog to mine. Thanks for the fun Nikki!!!! Hugs!!

Oh I love the added extras to do. Well my favorite gift as a kid wasn't from Santa and it really wasn't the gift it was getting to the gift. One year back in the early 80 my dad got the family a computer but he sent us on a scavenger hunt to find it. We had to go out side in the snow though the barn and the grainy to find the clues and figure them out. I also have you linked on my blog. Happy Holidays

Roxy said...

Love your hot cocoa box. Let's favorite Christmas gift....I guess I would have to say it was my first Barbie doll. It was back in 1971 I beleive. Malibu Barbie. Bendable legs and everything. Of course it was a last minute gift. y Dad had come home Christmas Eve with a Hess truck for my brother. Now my Mom was all about us kids having te same number of gifts and the dollar amounts had to be as close as possible. So on Christmas Eve, Mom went out and got my 2 sisters and I Barbie dolls. She was so angry at Dad! LOL!

My favorite gift from Santa was my Cabbage Patch Premime Baby Doll that I got as a little girl...I would take that baby everywhere with could say it was attached to my hip! And a close 2nd would have to be the mini kitchen playset my brother and I got one year from Santa we would play resturant all of the time and cook my parents breakfast and burgers all day long!

Thanks for the GREAT chance to win!
Hugs~ Kim

My favourite gift was an adorable pair of white cat slippers. The box had been wrapped in such a way that I thought there was a real animal in the box ... air holes, warnings --- it was so cute. I still have them:)

Hi Nikki.
I have posted a comment about your candy on my blog and added you to my blogcandylist.

My favorite toy I got from Santa was a furry chicken that you wound up and it jumped around. I was 3-4 years old but I still remember it. I even remember seeing the box as I unwrapped my gift! Have been looking for a chick like that, but I don't think they are being made like that anymore :(

Thanks for offering the candy. Beautiful stamps.
