And the matching b-day card to the coffee gift box...

I made a couple thank you cards today (which I'll post later when I get a chance to take some pics of them), but I wanted to first share with you the matching birthday card that goes with the little coffee gift box I made for a friend of mine, which you can see here.

I used these adorable cupcake and circle word printable stamps from Regina's All About Cupcakes set (it's a HUGE set of all sorts of yummy goods). You really should check out this set over at The Cutting Café, as you will see all the really really cute, pretty and adorable creations from Regina and the design team who will give you all sorts of inspiration!

So of course to make it matching to the coffee gift box I made, I used the same papers and ribbon:

What's great about Regina's printable stamps is you can just print them right on some decorative paper and cut them out! I popped up the frosting a little on mine...

I love this cupcake circle word:

And I used on the inside a very appropriate stamp by Rubber Soul:

Cupcake Mix:
-CS: Bazzill Basics "Mudpie"
-PPs: My Mind's Eye Bohemia Blossom "Angel" Small Damask, K&Company's Scrap To Go "K-Ology Peabody" and Anna Griffin Ivory Floral
-Stamps: Regina's The Cutting Café "All About Cupcakes" and Rubber Soul "Delicious Birthday"
-Fluid Chalk Inks: Colorbox "Dune", "Merlot" and "Dark Moss"
-Misc: Adhesive, Chipboard, Satin ribbon

Coffee and friends are the perfect blend

Here's something from the latest so cute box set that Regina has designed...you can go to her store The Cutting Café and see some really cute ideas of what can be done with this box set. It's from her Cupcake Holder set, which I do plan on making another one for cupcakes, but being a huge coffee fan and a friend's b-day coming up, I thought this would be a cute gift. Plus I wanted to think outside of the box. ;p

I used one of my favorite coffee stamp set from Inkadinkadoo and the ink I used is called Coffee Bean (how appropriate, huh?!?!)

The fonts on the tags are not stamps, I used Juice ITC and a doodlebat from DB Fancy Fringe. Also, don't you just love the pebble brads?!?!:

Brew:
-CS: Bazzill Basics "Mudpie" and "Truffle"
-PPs: My Mind's Eye Bohemia Blossom "Angel" Small Damask
-Stamps: Inkadinkado's "Coffee Expressions"
-Pigment Ink: Brilliance "Coffee Bean"
-Fluid Chalk Inks: Colorbox "Creamy Brown" and "Chestnut Roan"
-Brads: MM Dark Pink Daisy Jumbo Blossoms
-Cricut cart: TBBM for the tags cut at 2 3/8"
-Fonts: Juice ITC at 22 pts and DB Fancy Fringe 1 at 30 pts using the character "K"
-Misc: Adhesive, Mini Pop Dots, Zots, Cellophane Candy Bags, Satin ribbon

Christmas party favors

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Mine was a full house and very nice, except for the fact that a few of us had bad colds, myself with a 2 degree temperature. But it was still very nice. :)

You've already seen some of the favors I made for my family in early earlier posts but here are the last 4 that I had to make.

The 1st three were made using Regina's Candy Box cutting file from her store The Cutting Café. This box is PERFECT for holding 12 mini Hershey bars. One I made was for my darling SIL who is a chocoaholic so this was a perfect one for her. The 2nd one was for my soon-to-be wonderful mother-in-law who loves mint chocolate and luckily for me this year Hershey came out with mint mini Hershey bars, including white chocolate! And 3rd one was made for my great manager.

And since this holds 12 mini Hershey bars I decided to go with the Twelve Days of Christmas Theme...Regina being as creative and smart as she is, she included in this set the perfect measured rectangles to make your own wrapper for each chocolate bar.

So here are the ones using the Candy Box and the paper is from K&Company:

I love this paper from SEI from their Alpine Frost collection:

Originally I was going to put everyone's names on the favors but I decided at last minute to do place cards.

I got these so too cute ornament place card holders from Michaels for only $1/pair, are they not gorgeous?!?:

This one I filled with Hershey's mint truffle kisses. I also used Regina's Christmas Circle printable stamps for the tag. This gorgeous paper is from K&Company.

This favor I made using Regina's Long Window cutting file from her store The Cutting Café.

This one was for my brother being the coffee junkie that he is (as well as myself):

This stamp is from one of my favorite stamp sets...CTMH Coffee Shop and I got to use my prismacolor pencils (PC946 Dark Brown & PC911 Olive Green) and the gamsol technique:

Here's another stamp I fell in love with this season from Inkadinkadoo's Snowflake Trail set:

Merry & Bright...Coffee...and Happy Valentine's Day???

Regina has the cutest and really fun pillow boxes over at The Cutting Café. You should really check out her site and see the latest item she has designed, which I can't wait to make one! She's also having an amazing sale on all her designer boxes!

Here are 3 pillow boxes that used from her Assorted Pillow Box Set, which has 4 great different frames!

You should also go over and check out what the other designers have been up to with The Cutting Café.

This is the pillow box with the Star frame which I also used one of Regina's printable stamps from her Circle Christmas Printable stamps, which is a set of 12 different stamps and 3 different sizes!!

This one I used her Decorative frame and since I just love anything that has to do with coffee beans...I decided to make a coffee gift box. All those beans are from a great stamp from Impression Obsession and I also got to use some of my other favorite coffee stamps...SU! What's Brewing? and CTMH Coffee Shop.

And yeah yeah I know, I'm a little ahead of schedule on Happy Valentine's day, especially when I'm not even close to having my Christmas Cards done!!! But I couldn't resist when I saw Regina's Heart frame pillow box. PLUS, I got to use her Valentine printable stamp from her Big Holiday Words set!

Here's the one with one of the Big Holiday Words from that set.

Hot Chocolate Tree Box...BBTB Challenge

This past weeks challenge over at the Bitten By The Bug was to use the Tree Box from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More...I decided to make a Hot Chocolate Tree Box filled with homemade Hot Chocolate mix and mini marshmallows...mmmmm...

I used CDS and stretched out the tree box as large as I could on a 12x12 mat using the Tag Window feature. But I have to tell you, these shaped boxes on TBBM can be a little difficult to get lined up correctly and I'm not sure if it's because I'm stretching it out (even though it gets stretch out evenly). Does anyone have this issue?

And I finally got to use this really cool CTMH Coffee Shop stamp set that I got a while ago that I've been dying to use! Which I'll definitely being using for some more Holiday projects and cards...

This is available on my Etsy store here.

And go over the Bitten By The Bug site to see all the amazing things the out DTs did with this challenge!

Hot Chocolate Mix:
-PP: DCWV Christmas Glitter Stack 2007
-Stamps: CTMH Coffee Shop
-Fluid Chalk Inks: Colorbox Merlot
-Pigment Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
-Punch: Martha Stewart's Snowflake punch
-Primsmacolor Pencils: PC946 Dark Brown and PC925 Crimson Lake
-Cricut Cart: Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cut using the CDS stretch out to approx 7 3/4" and using the Tag Window feature
-Misc: Adhesive, Mini Pot Dots, Ribbon (unknown from stash), Gems, MM 1/8" Eyelet (Berry)

Mocha Latte Joe Espresso Java!

Here's a card that I'm making for a friend of mine that I have been thinking about a lot lately as she's been going through a very tough period in her life. It's based off of Kazan's sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You for an application to be on their design. My other entry is below post.

I'm also going to be using this card as one of my entries to the latest Bitten By the Bug contest.

Here's Kazan's sketch:

And here's my take on it:

Stay tuned for the inside of the card and the envie as well!

Wish me luck!
