Mixing Cricut & scrapNfonts for a Season's Greetings in a Winter Wonderland!

Hey there, this past week's challenge over at Bitten by the Bug was to use the card cut from Christmas Cheer as a blank canvas and incorporate some amazing doodlebats and fonts from scrapNfonts. We were asked to use a doodlebat from DB 'Tis the Season Modern and the font SNF Classy Charm (very classy!). I chose to use the Season's Greetings round tag, which is character "M" from DB 'Tis the Season Modern and also the cutest Snowman (character "Q") from DB Snowy Doodles. You should see what the other design team members did with this challenge, go on over to BBTB and see!

Here's mine:

My 1st project on Regina's cutting design team!

I'm so excited to present to you my 1st completed project using Regina Easter's awesome Shaped Christmas Cards with a Box cutting files. You must go to her Cutting Design's and Downloadable Stamps site and see all the wonderful designs she has to offer for extremely reasonable prices. What is great about these cutting files is you can use them over and over. They come in the format of WPC and PDF files. The WPC files are for those of you that have a Pazzles Inspiration machine (which I someday hope to have!). The PDF file you can print using your home printer and manually cut yourself with scissors OR if you have a Cricut Expression you can do what I'm doing which is converting the PDF file to a SVG file using Inkscape, a free downloadable software, and then import that file into a software program called SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) which this you do have to purchase, but fully worth it! You can do an internet search for it to purchase. Once you've done that then you can cut it using your Cricut Expression though a USB cable/port from your computer.

It is with honor that I get to present to you my first project as a design team member on Regina's cutting team (which the name of the team is under construction). To see the work of the other very talented design team members please go here. So without further ado here is my contribution:

Don't you love the see through window to see the envelops to the shaped cards?
